Elluminate
The Ohio Department of Education has decided to use the software Elluminate to conduct their web conferences. Elluminate will allow faculty and staff members to attend training session and professional development seminars over the web. By clicking on the link and then clicking on the Elluminate icon, you will have access to the Elluminate software through your web browser. You can then find your web conference from a list of that day’s scheduled conferences and log in using the password given to you when you register for a conference. This link will give you the ability to attend web conferences hosted by the Ohio Department of Education. It will not give you the ability to create your own web conferences.

Resources are available to assist individuals in gaining the employable skills needed to meet the demands of emerging and high growth industries. Particular populations have been heavily impacted by the recession, and have unique challenges in regaining employment. States and local areas are paying particular attention to these populations. Recovery Act Stimulus Funds are being utilized for short-term training and re-training activities for impacted individuals. Displaced, dislocated, low-wage workers and public assistance recipients are likely candidates to qualify for stimulus training funds. This is not a loan - funds do not have to be repaid!
