Enrollment/How to Apply

Acceptance to our two-year technical/vocational program is based on attendance, grade point average and credits accumulated during the freshman and sophomore years of high school.

Students should have enough credits to be of junior status to be admitted to the two-year training programs at the JVS. These credits earned at a home school will assure that students are on schedule to graduate.

It is recommended that students pass a minimum of nine (9) credits before being admitted to the JVS. Students can earn 14 credits at the JVS. To assure that students are on schedule to graduate, credits should include:

English2 credits
Science2 credits
Health/PE1 credit
Math2 credits
Social Studies2 credits

Please contact either the JVS Recruitment Office or your home school guidance counselor to obtain specific admission and selection guidelines. Feel free to print the JVS Student Application PDF (Download Adobe Acrobat Reader) and take it to your guidance counselor for processing.

We want to be a part of your future and help you become a success! Call us if you have questions or concerns. We look forward to hearing from you.
